Mobile internet access in St Petersburg may be disrupted for reasons beyond the museum’s control. We recommend printing your e-tickets or saving them to your phone immediately after purchase by downloading the file or taking a screenshot. If your documents confirming eligibility for concessions are electronic, please also save them in advance for offline access.

Please note that, to obtain a free or concessionary admission ticket at the ticket office, visitors must present an identity document and the original document confirming eligibility for free or concessionary admission. (“Visitor Rules”, sections 2.8, 2.9 and 7.5).

Please note that tickets for guided tours of the Peter and Paul Fortress are sold only at museum ticket offices or on the museum’s website.
Admission to the grounds of the Peter and Paul Fortress is free for all visitors.
We recommend that you do not buy Peter and Paul Fortress tour tickets from unofficial sellers. These tickets are overpriced and do not include admission to museum sites such as Peter and Paul Cathedral, Trubetskoy Bastion Prison, the Commandant’s House, the Engineers’ House or other exhibitions.

Tour groups for individual visitors are formed daily at the Information Centre in the Ioannovsky Ravelin. Departure times: 11:00, 12:00, 13:00, 14:00, 15:00, 16:00 and 17:00 (on Tuesdays, Saturdays and the day before public holidays, the last tour departs at 16:30).

Tours for individual visitors use radio receivers with headphones. A cash deposit of 1000 ₽ is required for each radio receiver. Radio receivers are issued starting 20 minutes before the tour.

Tour groups are limited to 40 visitors. The number of groups is also limited due to the capacity of the museum sites.

Combined Tickets are sold regardless of the tour start time and are valid for any tour departure.

The Combined Ticket also includes free admission to temporary exhibitions within the Peter and Paul Fortress. Restrictions apply; please ask at the information desk for the list of included exhibitions.

The COMBINED TICKET is valid for 3 calendar days:
tickets purchased at the museum ticket office are valid from the date of purchase;
tickets purchased online are valid for three days from the date shown on the e-ticket.
The sites covered by the Combined Ticket may be visited over three days, but each site may be visited only once.
Once you have begun visiting the museum sites, the ticket cannot be exchanged or refunded.
