Benefits and rights
The right to visit the museum free of charge is granted to the following categories of citizens (the benefit does not apply to excursion services):
- veterans, participants and invalids of the Great Patriotic War;
- persons awarded with the badge "Inhabitant of besieged Leningrad";
- employees of museums of the system of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation;
- ICOM members;
- children of preschool age.
- in accordance with Art. 7 of the Law of 01/15/1993 No. 4301-1 "On the status of Heroes of the Soviet Union, Heroes of the Russian Federation and full holders of the Order of Glory" (as amended on 04/06/2015) - to persons awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union, Hero of the Russian Federation and full cavaliers of the Order of Glory;
- in accordance with paragraph 1 of the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of 05.05.1992 No. 431 "On measures for the social support of large families" (as amended on 25.02.2003), paragraph 4. Art. 18 Law of St. Petersburg dated November 22, 2011 No. 728-132 "Social Code of St. Petersburg" (Adopted by the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg on November 9, 2011) (as amended on October 9, 2015) - to all members of large families ;
- in accordance with Art. 12 of the Law of the Russian Federation of October 9, 1992 No. 3612-I “Fundamentals of the Legislation of the Russian Federation on Culture” (as amended on May 5, 2014) and clause 1 of the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of November 12, 1999 No. 1242 “On the procedure for free visits to museums by persons under the age of eighteen” (as amended on February 1, 2005) - for persons under the age of 18 and persons enrolled in basic professional educational programs - once a month - on the third Thursday of each month.
The right of priority (extraordinary) service is granted to the following categories of citizens:
- in accordance with Art. 7 of the Law of January 15, 1993 No. 4301-1 “On the status of Heroes of the Soviet Union, Heroes of the Russian Federation and full holders of the Order of Glory” (as amended on July 2, 2013)
- persons awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union, Hero of the Russian Federation and who are full cavaliers of the Order of Glory;
- in accordance with paragraphs. 19 of part 1 of Art. 15 of the Federal Law of January 12, 1995 No. 5-FZ "On Veterans" (as amended on June 29, 2015),
- veterans and participants of the Great Patriotic War (including persons awarded the medal "For the Defense of Leningrad")
- in accordance with paragraphs. 15 parts of 1 art. 18 of the Federal Law of January 12, 1995 No. 5-FZ "On Veterans" (as amended on June 29, 2015),
- persons awarded the badge "Inhabitant of besieged Leningrad")
- in accordance with paragraphs. 16 parts of 1 art. 16 of the Federal Law of January 12, 1995 No. 5-FZ "On Veterans" (as amended on June 29, 2015),
- veterans of combat operations on the territory of the USSR
- in accordance with paragraphs. 28 parts of 1 art. 14 of the Federal Law of January 12, 1995 No. 5-FZ "On Veterans" (as amended on June 29, 2015),
- invalids of the Great Patriotic War and military operations;
- in accordance with paragraph 1 of the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of October 15, 1992 No. 1235 “On the provision of benefits to former minor prisoners of concentration camps, ghettos and other places of detention created by the Nazis and their allies during the Second World War”:
- former juvenile prisoners of concentration camps, ghettos, other places of detention created by the Nazis and their allies during the Second World War, including those recognized as disabled due to general illness, labor injury and other reasons;
- in accordance with Art. 5 of the Federal Law of 01/09/1997 No. 5-FZ "On the provision of social guarantees to Heroes of Socialist Labor and full holders of the Order of Labor Glory" (as amended on 06/29/2015):
- citizens of the Russian Federation awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor and citizens of the Russian Federation awarded the Order of Labor Glory of three degrees;
- disabled people of the Russian Federation.
Establish that in accordance with the Treaty between the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation "On Equal Rights of Citizens" dated December 25, 1998, ratified by Federal Law of the Russian Federation No. 89-FZ dated May 1, 1999, citizens of the Republic of Belarus have equal rights when visiting a museum, in part of setting prices for entrance tickets.
